The Conklin Pen Company, established in 1898, is regarded as one of the most significant and innovative manufactures during the golden era of fountain pens.  This legendary name in writing instrument history returns with the release of their famous "Nozac Word Gauge" fountain pen in a truly one of a kind limited edition.

Originally released in 1931, the "Nozac Word Gauge" is recognized today as one of the of the all-time classics.  The barrel of the pen contains a word gauge which actually allows the writer to view their remaining ink supply and determine how many words they have left to write.

This unique writing instrument is made of acryloid, a special combination of celluloid and acrylic which create a truly vintage apperance.  Each oversized fountain pen is twelve facated with the Conklin name delicately engraved into each barrel.  A solid sterling clip and band are added to enhance the elegance of this time-honored writing instrument.  Based on the original model, the "Nozac Word Gauge" limited edition is fountain pen worthy of its legendary name.  Available in either marble blue/tortoise or marble blue/red, each version limited to 898 pieces worldwide.  The fountain pen features a large two toned 18K gold nib available in fine, medium or broad.  Each pen uses a power piston filling system and comes packaged in a special wooden case engraved with the famous Conklin logo.

Also available in a special "Reserve Nozac Word Gauge" limited edition with a solid 18K gold clip and band.  Each version will be limited to 198 pieces worldwide.
