Introduction
Founded in 1918, Pilot Corporation is the oldest and largest manufacturer of writing instruments based in Japan. We continue to grow because of the quality of our products, innovation of our R&D teams and support provided by our administrative, sales and customer service staffs. Our corporate philosophy is best symbolized by an ancient bronze vessel which stands on three legs. One leg represents the people who make our products, a second leg symbolizes those who sell those products and the third leg stands for those who use them. Just as the three legs are essential to support the vessel, so are the three groups essential to each other's success.

The fact that our products can be found world-wide is a testimonial to our commitment to excellence. In order to maintain the highest level of quality, we undertake all aspects of production. This includes designing and manufacturing our own dies, molds and machine tools. All of our products are manufactured under the strictest quality control in our modern facilities which are located in various parts of the world.
