After nearly two years of work and refinement with the designer, Mr. K. Kashimoto or Japan, Bexley Pen announced the Kensaki Premier Fountain Pen.

Because of the unusual elements and extremely desirable characteristics of this wonderful creation, Bexley has been able to retain the right to market these pens in the US in addition to those pieces being prepared for the pen club in Japan. No more that a total of 116 serialized pieces will be produced, with approximately the same number going to each country.

Kensaki is the Japanese word for Squid, and is shown on the nib design. It is also a play on words as Pensaki is the word for Nib. This pen has the largest size regular production nib available today; an 8 mm nib, two tone in 18K. These nibs were made in Germany by Bock, and are hand ground by 'THE' Japanese master nib artists!

Additional Characteristics of the pen:

  1. Large capacity piston filling system, approximately 2 cc.
  2. Visualized gray tinted ink view window.
  3. Solid 18K gold violin style clip.
  4. Woodgrain cold enamel inlays in ebonite cap.
  5. Screw on positive stop cap posting.
  6. Ivory colored overlay on barrel bearing laser engraved inscription and serial number.
  7. Crocodile black leatherette-oversized packaging.

MSRP $1750. This one has a medium nib. New in the box, with paperwork, etc.
